Digital Signage¶
The Digital Signage feature in Ordinate provides a live, at-a-glance view of the current status of meeting spaces across your event. This premium feature (which may require an additional license depending on your package) offers three distinct types of digital signage, each suited for different use cases.
1. Meeting Overview Board¶
The Meeting Overview Board mimics an airport departure board, displaying a list of upcoming meetings. It’s ideal for public areas such as lobbies or reception desks, or semi-public areas such as a staff room, providing attendees with an easy-to-read schedule of what’s coming up. Key features include:
- Time Range: Display meetings scheduled for the next N hours (configurable).
- Paging and Looping: If the list of meetings exceeds screen capacity, the display will automatically page or loop through the items.
- Static Information Pages: You can optionally include static pages with advertisements, safety information, or Wi-Fi details.
- Public/Private Views: Choose between showing full meeting details (time, title, host, and room/table) or restricting it to just the time, host, and room/table name for confidentiality in public spaces.
- Location Group Filtering: Filter the displayed meetings by Location Groups to show only meetings in selected rooms, like a specific floor or a dining area, or to exclude confidential rooms.
- Orientation: The display can be set up in either landscape or portrait mode.

2. Interactive Room Status Display¶
The Room Status Display is usually driven by a tablet computer, and typically mounted on or near ameeting room door, showing the current availability of that room. This display is perfect for keeping track of whether a room is occupied or free at any given moment:
- Free/Busy Status: Instantly see if the room is available or occupied.
- Meeting Information: Optionally show details of the meeting in progress and the next meeting scheduled in the room.
- Instant Book Feature: On touchscreen devices, this display allows users to instantly book the room for a short period if it's free.

3. Meeting Countdown Timer¶
The Meeting Countdown Timer is used within a meeting room to help participants keep track of time. It is displayed as a banner on a wall-mounted screen, typically the one used for meeting presentations:
- Countdown Display: Shows a countdown timer with the remaining time for the meeting.
- Visual Cues: The timer changes colors and becomes more prominent as the end time approaches, helping attendees vacate the room on time.

Customization and Branding¶
All digital signage variants can be customized to match your event’s colour scheme and branding requirements. You can add your logo or any other visual elements, and Ordinate can handle more extensive bespoke designs as needed.
