List View

The List View offers a traditional grid-style layout for managing and reviewing meetings in Ordinate. This view is ideal for searching, filtering, and sorting through large schedules of meetings, making it easier to find specific events or focus on meetings that require action.

Filtering and Search Options

The List View includes several filtering options that allow you to narrow down the meetings displayed:

  • Date Filter: You can select all dates or filter by a specific date. During the event, there is also an option to select "Now & Future", which hides past meetings to focus on upcoming ones.
  • Zone Filter: Select one or more zones to display only the meetings held in specific areas.
  • Status Filter: Filter by meeting status to view only Confirmed, Requested, or other status types.
  • Text Search: Use the search bar to look for specific meetings by keyword, such as meeting titles, participants, or other key information.

Context Menu

Right-clicking on a meeting row brings up the context menu, which provides several options depending on user permissions:

  • Show Details: Opens the meeting’s full details in a new view, allowing for editing or review.
  • Set Color: Assigns a specific color to the meeting for easy identification in the list and calendar views.
  • Allocate Location: Provides a quick form to assign a location to the meeting, useful if a meeting is currently unallocated.
  • Clone Meeting: Creates a copy of the meeting, pre-filling the new form with the original meeting’s details.

View Options

Paged or All Rows

Toggle the option at the bottom of the list to switch between Paged view (you see the rows that fit on the page, and can move between pages) or All Rows view (a scroll bar will show you all meetings in a continuous list).

Sorting by Column

Each column in the List View can be clicked to sort the meetings by that column’s data. For example, you can sort by start time, location, or status to reorganize the list based on your needs. Click the header a second time to reverse the order.

Customizing Columns (Settings Cog)

In the top right of the List View, the Settings cog allows users to customize which columns are displayed. You can show or hide columns depending on the information that is most relevant to your workflow, helping keep the interface clean and focused.
